What should I wear for my treatment?
I recommend wearing something comfortable but if you are coming straight from work, well just come as you are.
If you are having "botox" to your neck area, I would advise wearing something loose.
Can anyone have treatments?
No.
- Young people under 18
- Pregnant or breast feeding mothers or those expect to become pregnant
- People taking certain blood thinning medications or have bleeding disorders
- Generalised disorders of muscle activity e.g. myasthenia gravis
- There are some mental health reasons why aesthetics is not advisable. To be discussed further at your consultation
I reserve the right not to offer treatment if I strongly believe that it is not in your best interests.
All clients will have an in depth consultation prior to any treatments.
Will I see the results straight away?
Dermal Fillers - you will be able to see a significant change after treatment but this will be followed by some initial swelling after treatment and then over two weeks the final effect will emerge.
Botulinum Toxin - has a gradual effect as the muscles relax. Again there may be some swelling after treatment. Final results visible by two weeks.
How often can I have treatment?
The frequency of treatments depends on your individual needs. On average treatments with Botox last about 3 months and treatments with fillers will last about 14 months. Much depends on the products used, individual muscle and tissue structure, your age, gender and lifestyle.
Is it safe?
All procedures come with some risk. Every effort is made to minimise that risk. At your consultation this will be discussed with you and you will be given time to decide if treatment is right for you.
